On November 18th, BioGov.net took centre stage at the event Shaping the Future of Renaturation and Resilient Ecosystem Management Together! in Cologne-Mülheim. This gathering brought together experts, innovators, and stakeholders to reimagine the future of the Rhenish mining area.

Partnering with two key projects—Qualified. Networked. Innovative. Effective – Further Training in the Rhenish District and Co-Creation in the Region – Developing Transfer Systemically and Innovatively—BioGov.net highlighted the urgent need to develop specialized training programs in bioeconomy and identified essential skills for sustainable transformation.

The event offered a unique platform for collaboration, with regional heavyweights like the Bioeconomy Revier, Future Agency Rheinisches Revier GmbH  and TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences joining forces to pave the way for impactful change.

Through active networking and shared vision, BioGov.net and its partners strengthened the foundation for innovative, community-driven approaches to ecosystem management and sustainable development. Together, they’re crafting a resilient future for the region
