PEDAL, the Slovak partner of BioGov.net, is organising the Policy workshop with Slovak policy-makers on bioeconomy education, which will take place at the beginning of July. It is co-organised with the Development Agency of the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region, the largest region in Slovakia.
The objective of the workshop is to reflect on the current situation and propose measures for more effective strategy design in bioeconomy skills development at multiple levels. The idea is also to share the best practices and interesting indicatives from the regions of Slovakia as well as from abroad, and initiate discussions to enable participants identifying key gaps within the governance system and chart out necessary measures for enhancement in bioeconomy education and training.
