On 11 November, our project partner Selenia Marinelli from FVA – New Media Research represented the BioGov.net project at the Youth Debate “Communicating the Sustainability Vision with Bioeconomy“ organized by the GenB project. This series of debates offers young people a platform to express ideas and engage in meaningful discussions on envisioning a more sustainable future.
Selenia showcased BioGov.net’s unique methodology, which merges Art and Bioeconomy Education to inspire young audiences. She illustrated how arts and culture can serve as powerful catalysts, sparking a passion for bioeconomy among youth. In her speech, she emphasized art’s role at the heart of innovative education, training, mentoring, and research initiatives. These initiatives aim to foster critical and creative thinking, promote ethical imagination, support collaborative, experiential learning, and enhance inclusion.
The debate also featured interactive sessions on MIRO, actively engaging participants to share their perspectives and contribute to the dialogue.
